Myth 3: You need to be a technology expert to set up and maintain in-yard data collection
In most cases the setup of your in-yard system can be done for you. But the fact is that there are hundreds of everyday farmers out there using this technology. They range in ages from 20 to 70+ and they don’t have IT degrees.
The important thing is to start with an end-goal in mind. Knowing what you want to achieve tells you what you need to measure, and allows your suppliers to set up reports that will present you with information that tells you how you are tracking against your objectives.
