The AllFlex Stick Reader

The AllFlex Stick Reader is supplied by Sapien and works in conjunction with much of the Sapien-exclusive hardware and software. It is a key instrument in the gathering of information about your animals. This hand-held, battery-powered scanner is lightweight, comfortable to handle, cordless and totally portable, allowing easy capture of NLIS data at your own speed and discretion.

The mobility of the Stick Reader makes it an ideal tool for use when preg-testing, conducting structural assessments, tagging calves at birth and so on, as it enables very specific animal access for data collection. The read-range of 25-30cm supports these tasks. Scanned information can be stored in the memory located in the handle of the Stick Reader, and can later be downloaded into our koolcollect software on a PC.
