The Sapien-designed Auto-Record Board (ARB) is a fast and easy way to record large quantities of information about your animals. It is used in conjunction with a Stick Reader, and eliminates the need for manual processing in the yards.

The ARB consists of a strip of rubber with a series of 'markers' fixed along its length. Each marker denotes a piece of information that is relevant to the data collection task at hand. When scanned with a Stick Reader, these marker points instruct any of our koolsoftware applications to record the information against the current animal. Markers can be customised depending on the information being collected or sought, be it weight ranges, status, breed, bloodlines, year of birth or structural scores. One-touch scanning and recording of data from a light-weight and portable resource means an easier, faster, more efficient data collection system. 

Once captured by the Stick Reader, all ARB information can be transmitted live to either our handheld koolcompact software or our PC-based koolcollect software. Conversely, koolcollect can receive stored information at a time of your choosing - information can remain stored in the Stick Reader until downloaded.
